My name is Selin Giray, I was born in New York and lived most of my life in Istanbul, Turkey. I am a 3D Character animator and 3D Generalist. I am currently working towards my master's in VFX.

Animation has always played a part in my life. As an introvert, Animation has been my way to connect with others. We bonded over the emotions evoked by animations. I knew then that I wanted to work in an industry that brought life to characters and their stories. I went to Savannah College Of Art and Design as an animation BFA and a minor in VFX. After Graduating I freelanced for a small animation company, at the same time I learned more about the Masters program for VFX at SCAD. In December 2024 I decided to learn more about the visual effects pipeline and started my masters At SCAD.

When I'm not doing animation, I like to spend my time with my cat, reading, and traveling around the world with my family.
